General
What is Vicomma?+
Vicomma (pronounced "vee-comma") is a global marketplace that connects brands with content creators. Brands can find and hire UGC creators, influencers, photographers, video editors, writers, voiceover artists, and more. Creators can list their services, set their own prices, and get paid securely through escrow. The platform is free to join for both sides, with zero commission during early access.
Is Vicomma free?+
Yes. Vicomma is currently 100% free for both brands and creators. There are no subscription fees, no platform fees, and no commission taken from creator earnings. We're in an early access period — when we introduce premium features in the future, early members will receive grandfathered benefits.
How is Vicomma different from Fiverr, Collabstr, or Upwork?+
Three key differences: (1) Vicomma is free with 0% commission — Fiverr takes 20%, Collabstr takes 15%, Upwork takes 10–20%. (2) Vicomma supports creators in 36+ countries including Pakistan, India, Nigeria, and UAE — markets most platforms ignore. (3) Vicomma offers both direct hiring and campaign briefs — so brands can search for creators or have creators come to them.
Which countries does Vicomma support?+
Vicomma has creators in 36+ countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Pakistan, India, UAE, Canada, Germany, France, Nigeria, Australia, Brazil, Spain, Italy, South Africa, Turkey, Mexico, Egypt, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Philippines, and more. New countries are added as creators sign up from around the world.

Is there a Vicomma app?+
Yes. Vicomma has a free Android app that lets creators manage their dashboard, receive notifications from brands, track earnings, and handle orders on the go. You can download it directly from vicomma.com.
For brands
How do I find the right creator for my brand?+
Two ways: (1) Search our marketplace by platform (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), niche, country, follower count, and price — then browse creator profiles, portfolios, and ratings. (2) Post a campaign brief describing what you need and let matching creators apply to you with their rates.
Do I need a subscription to hire creators?+
No. Vicomma has no subscription fees. You can browse, search, message, and hire creators without any monthly commitment. Many competitor platforms charge $199–$800/month just for access. On Vicomma, you only pay when you actually hire a creator — and during early access, there are zero platform fees on top of that.
How does the campaign feature work?+
Post a campaign brief with your requirements: content type, niche, target demographics, budget, and timeline. Your brief goes out to creators who match your criteria. Creators apply with their rates and portfolios. You review applicants and choose who to work with. This is ideal when you need multiple creators or want to compare options before hiring.
What if I'm not happy with the content I receive?+
You can request revisions from the creator before approving the delivery. Your payment stays in escrow throughout — it's not released until you approve. If you and the creator can't reach an agreement after revisions, open a support ticket and Vicomma's team will mediate. Options include additional revisions, a replacement, or a refund.
Can I hire multiple creators at once?+
Yes. You can place separate orders with multiple creators simultaneously, or post a campaign brief and hire several applicants. Each order is managed independently in your Service Orders dashboard with its own messaging thread and escrow payment.
How long does it take to receive content?+
Delivery timelines vary by service type and creator. Most UGC videos and social media content are delivered within 5–7 days. Complex projects like full brand photoshoots or video editing may take longer. You and the creator agree on a timeline before work begins. You can track order status from your dashboard.
Do I get usage rights for the content?+
Usage rights should be discussed and agreed upon with the creator before placing an order. Many creators include usage rights in their gig packages. For specific needs like paid ad usage, whitelisting, or perpetual licensing, clarify the terms with your creator through the in-platform messaging system before starting the project.
For creators
How do I join Vicomma as a creator?+
Sign up for free at vicomma.com/signup. Complete your profile checklist: full name, phone number, profile photo or video, bio (minimum 50 characters), country, state, and city. Then create at least one gig with a title, category, skills, portfolio images, description, and pricing packages. Once everything is at 100%, your profile goes live.
Do I need a minimum number of followers?+
No. Vicomma has no follower requirement. Many brands specifically seek nano and micro creators because their content is more authentic and relatable. What matters on Vicomma is the quality of your work and portfolio — not the size of your audience. UGC creators are hired for their content skills, not their follower count.
How do I set my pricing?+
When you create a gig, you set your own pricing packages. You decide what to charge — there's no platform-imposed minimum or maximum. You can create multiple pricing tiers (basic, standard, premium) for different deliverables. Check what other creators in your category charge to price competitively while valuing your work fairly.
How do I get discovered by brands?+
Two paths: (1) Brands find you by searching for creators in your niche, platform, and location. A complete profile with strong portfolio samples and competitive pricing helps you appear in results. (2) You actively browse and apply to campaign briefs posted by brands. Applying to briefs is often faster than waiting to be discovered — especially when starting out.
Can I create multiple gigs?+
Yes — and you should. Creating multiple gigs across different categories increases your visibility in search results. For example, a content creator could have separate gigs for "UGC product review videos," "Instagram Reels editing," and "brand photoshoot packages." Each gig has its own title, category, pricing, portfolio, and description.
My profile says "Profile Locked" — what does that mean?+
Your profile stays locked until you complete all required fields in the profile completion checklist. This means brands cannot see you yet. Check your dashboard for the progress tracker — it shows exactly which items are missing. You need: full name, phone number, profile photo or video, bio (50+ characters), country, state, city, and at least one published gig. Once everything is at 100%, your profile unlocks automatically.
How long does it take to get my first client?+
It depends on your niche, pricing, portfolio quality, and how actively you apply to campaign briefs. Creators who complete their profile, upload strong portfolio samples, price competitively, and apply to briefs daily tend to land their first client within 2–4 weeks. Starting with slightly lower prices to build your first few reviews can accelerate this significantly.
Payments & pricing
What is escrow and how does it work?+
Escrow means Vicomma holds the payment between the brand and creator. When a brand hires a creator, their payment is locked on the platform — not sent to the creator yet. The creator can see the funds are secured, so they know they'll get paid. Once the creator delivers content and the brand approves it, the payment is released to the creator's balance. This protects both sides.
Does Vicomma charge brands any fees?+
No — not during early access. The creator's listed price is the total you pay. No marketplace fee, no service charge, no processing surcharge. For comparison, Collabstr charges brands 10% on top of the creator's price, and Insense charges a monthly subscription starting at $500.
Does Vicomma take commission from creators?+
No — not during early access. Creators keep 100% of their earnings. For comparison, Collabstr takes 15%, Fiverr takes 20%, and Upwork takes 10–20%. When Vicomma introduces fees in the future, early members will receive reduced rates and grandfathered benefits.
How do creators withdraw their earnings?+
Once payments are released to your Vicomma balance after brand approval, you can withdraw through the Withdrawals section of your creator dashboard. Your balance, transaction history, and monthly income charts are all visible in your dashboard. Specific withdrawal methods are available in your account settings.
Will Vicomma always be free?+
The core marketplace will remain accessible. In the future, we plan to introduce optional premium features for brands and creators who want advanced tools like promoted profiles, priority placement, and detailed analytics. We'll communicate any pricing changes well in advance, and early members will receive special grandfathered benefits.
What happens if a brand doesn't pay?+
Because Vicomma uses escrow, the brand's payment is locked on the platform before you start working. This means the money is already there — the brand can't receive your content without the payment going through. If there's a dispute about the delivery, Vicomma's support team mediates — but the funds don't disappear.
Trust & safety
How does Vicomma verify creators?+
Every creator must complete a profile checklist before going live: full name, phone number, profile photo or video, bio, country, state, city, and at least one active gig with portfolio. Profiles that are incomplete remain locked and invisible to brands. Additionally, Vicomma uses algorithms to monitor for suspicious patterns and has a community reporting system for flagging issues.
What if a creator doesn't deliver?+
If a creator fails to deliver within the agreed timeframe, brands can open a support ticket from their dashboard. Vicomma investigates and can issue a full refund from escrow. Creators who repeatedly fail to deliver may have their accounts suspended or removed from the platform.
How do I report a problem or suspicious activity?+
You can open a support ticket from your dashboard, or email
[email protected] with details about the issue. Whether it's an order dispute, a suspicious profile, or inappropriate content — our team investigates every report. Accounts found violating our policies are suspended or permanently removed.
Is my personal information safe?+
Yes. Your personal information is protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We never share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. All communication between brands and creators happens through our secure in-platform messaging system — you don't need to share personal contact information to collaborate.
Can I trust the ratings and reviews on Vicomma?+
Ratings and reviews are left by brands after completed orders. They cannot be edited or removed by creators, making them an honest reflection of work quality. Over time, higher-rated creators rise in search results while lower-performing accounts are reviewed and may be removed from the platform.
