3. Marketplace & payment data
As a two-sided marketplace with escrow payments, Vicomma processes specific financial and transactional data:
Escrow payments
When a brand hires a creator, the payment is held in escrow by Vicomma. We store transaction records including the order amount, parties involved, order status, delivery dates, approval status, and payment release date. This data is retained to maintain order history and resolve disputes.
Creator earnings
We track and display creator balances, transaction history, service order counts, and monthly income data in the creator dashboard. This data is used to operate the payment system and provide creators with financial reporting.
Withdrawal information
When creators withdraw earnings, we process and store withdrawal method details and transaction records. Payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers, who are bound by their own privacy policies and security standards.
Ratings and reviews
After completed orders, brands can leave ratings and reviews for creators. This data is publicly displayed on creator profiles to help other brands make informed decisions. Ratings cannot be edited or removed by creators and form part of the platform's transparency system.
4. Sharing & disclosure of information
Vicomma does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your data in the following limited circumstances:
- Public profile information: Creator profiles (name, bio, photo, country, skills, portfolio, ratings, pricing) are publicly visible to brands browsing the marketplace. This is core to how the platform works — creators list services, brands discover them.
- Order counterparties: When a brand hires a creator, certain information (name, messaging content, order details) is shared between the brand and creator to facilitate the collaboration.
- Service providers: We share data with trusted third-party providers who help us operate the platform, including hosting services, payment processors, analytics tools, and email delivery services. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
- Legal obligations: We may disclose information if required by law, in response to a court order, legal process, or government request, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of Vicomma, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the new entity. We will notify affected users of any such transfer.
